Glen Powell has revealed he has offered a money can’t buy prize to the family of the winner of his lookalike competition – a cameo in his next film.
Before the contest got underway in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, the Twistors actor, 36, shared a tongue in cheek video on social media where he announced he would be contributing the special reward.
He also added that he wished he could have attended the contest in person, but that he was unable to because he was out of the country on a shoot.
Speaking in the video, Glen said: ‘Welcome to the Justin Hartley lookalike contest.
‘In all seriousness, I have assembled you here today for an important mission. I want to pull off a heist, and we don’t need masks because we all have the same face.
‘It’s the perfect crime! They can’t get all of us because we are one: a criminal Glenterprise.’

Turning his attention to the prize, Glen continued: ‘You may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make, but today the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contest wins their parents, or any family member of their choice, a cameo in my next movie.
‘I am completely serious. This is a cash-value prize of $6 billion.’
Glen’s parents – Glen Sr. and Cyndy Powell – have appeared in all his films, including his recent movie Twisters, in which he starred alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones.
‘Literally since Spy Kids 3, I think they’ve been in every one,’ he shared on the Today Show in July.
Fans were blown away by Glen’s sweet gesture to the competition winner and flooded social media with comments.
‘Glen Powell is devoted to making sure the winner has a good time,’ one wrote. ‘Respect.’
‘Well, whoever wins is one lucky man,’ another penned.
A third added: ‘And this is why Glen Powell is the best.’

It was reported by the Austin American Statesman that Maxwell Braunstein was crowned the winner of the competition.
Maxwell received $5, a cowboy hat, free queso from Torchy’s Tacos for a year and a special message from Glen himself, who was on FaceTime with his mom during the event.
Lookalike competitions have been sweeping the globe in recent weeks following the success of the Timothee Chalamet event last month.

The Gladiator actor, 28, appeared on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show when the host surprised him by introducing him to his doppelganger from the competition, which took place in Dublin earlier this month.
As Jack Wall O’Reilly, who is now otherwise known as ‘earbuds Paul’ came on the phone, Paul was left shocked as he exclaimed: ‘This is bananas.’
Speaking to Jack, Paul joked: ‘I actually saw the photo, I didn’t know it was happening until it was over and I think you captured the spirit of me very well.’
His lookalike then replied: ‘Thank you very much. I presumed you were at home with your family getting some rest after the long press tour.’
