The price reduction was a resounding success. Due to the high demand, Kia had to temporarily halt bookings for the Stonic as the response from customers was overwhelming. Numerous purchasers patiently awaiting a more budget-friendly alternative promptly seized the opportunity presented by the revised pricing.
In an unexpected twist, Kia has resumed accepting bookings for the Stonic, but with a notable price hike. Starting from July 1, we will set the delivery timeline for all new Stonic orders for December 2024 or later. Additionally, Kia has implemented a price lock feature for orders with partial payments scheduled for delivery in December 2024 and January 2025. As a market research analyst, it is essential to note that the agreed-upon price at the time of booking will remain unchanged unless the Pakistani rupee significantly depreciates against the US dollar or import duties and taxes increase. The customer will be responsible for any changes made during delivery.
